Light lesson & Show

In this program you can experience a light kenbu lesson with a chance to try on a traditional costume as well as a show performed by Kenbu Masters.

This is our most popular full scale program. The swords are not dangerous and we have smaller costumes so anyone from the age of 5 years old can participate.

LESSON
  • You will learn the general knowledge of samurai and samurai kenbu.
  • Choose your samurai costume and put it on.
  • You will learn about and practice a few aspects of Samurai etiquette as well as practice the art of kenbu. In the light lesson you can try a few basic moves with a samurai sword.

  • See the detail of the Show here
  • The one hour Evening show or Winter & Off-peak Season Program are performed by our masters.
  • After the Show you can take pictures with the masters.

Observing a lesson: you can enter the dojo and take photos of the participants of your group. (At least one of your group need to participate in a lesson.)
